Approach to Sustainability in Responsible Investment
The Dai-ichi Life Group aims to resolve social issues defined in its Core Materiality through corporate activities.
Dai-ichi Life and Dai-ichi Frontier Life regard responsible investment as an important activity that relates to all four Core Materiality issues. Based on this belief, both companies are promoting responsible investment centered on sustainable investments and stewardship activities with the aim of balancing the achievement of stable investment returns over the medium to long term and addressing social issues.

Basic Policy on Responsible Investment
Dai-ichi Life and Dai-ichi Frontier Life have established a "Basic Policy on Responsible Investment" as their highest level policy on responsible investment, which defines the purpose and basic stance of responsible investment, as well as their policy on compliance with the Japanese Stewardship Code.

To Promote Responsible Investment,we provides training periodically to Investment devisions that themed Sustainability Issues(e.g. Human Rights,Human Capital,Natural Capital and Climate Change) by Sustainability analysts.Changes in the external environment related to sustainability,we are required a timely and appropriate understanding of the impact on the operating environment. In light of this, we believe it is essential to promote understanding and update the awareness of those in charge of investment divisions, we are promoting employee education to mitigating the impact of climate change and tighter regulations on investment decisions and asset management.
