His experiences as a member of the Group have covered a wide range of engagements in the Company's businesses, including secretarial work, public relations, and domestic corporate insurance, and he has deep experience and knowledge in the life insurance business. In addition, he has been engaged in corporate management as a member of the Board of Directors of The Dai-ichi Frontier Life Insurance Co., Ltd. since April 2018, and in auditing as an Audit & Supervisory Committee Member (Full-Time) since June 2022. The Company believes he has the qualifications necessary to strengthen the effectiveness of the supervisory and auditing function over the management of the Group by making use of his experience and knowledge. Therefore, the Company appointed him as a director serving as Audit & Supervisory Committee member.
